Join our guides and instructors for 3 days of coaching and skill development in perfecting your technique in powder, steep terrain and changing snow conditions.

	Prerequisites and difficulty
	You should have some experience skiing / riding powder snow. Gentle to moderately steep off piste slopes are no real problem for you. The course builds up from here. This course can also be taken by participants from our Piste to Powder and Freeride Basics Camp.


	Location
	This camp will be held in Sölden.

	Agenda
	Day 1	Meet at sports4you sportshop at 9 am, introduce program, sign waivers, issue and check gear then head for local ski area. After assessing the group's ski / board ability the group starts working on the progression of skills that must be mastered for difficult off-piste terrain. Filming.

	Day 2	Skill assessment and development based on video analysis. Filming.

	Day 3	New skills are applied to and developed on steeper terrain.

We will be on the slopes between 4 and 5 hours a day, not including lunch break.

Guides and group size

In addition to their certification as guides, your ski and snowboard instructors are fully qualified with years of teaching experience under their belts. Find out more about them here.

	Gear and clothing
	The course fee includes avalanche safety equipment. Skis: You will find this course a lot more enjoyable with an off piste ski, which has a minimum width of 80 mm underneath your ski boot. They should also have a soft flex. Snowboards: To get more of a surfing feeling in powder, your board shouldn't be too short and should have a soft flex.

	Generally we recommend bringing light clothing of varying thicknesses that can be 'layered' to achieve comfort and versatility. We suggest you bring: Waterproof jacket (with hood) and pants Fleece or softshell jacket Polypro underwear (top and bottom) Wool or fleece hat Helmet (if available) Back protector (if available) Waterproof gloves

	Rental gear
	We can recommend the sports4you sport shop in Sölden.

	Insurance
	You will require your own insurance.
